About me

My name is Dorothea Cires Wagenknecht (she/her). I was born in Bucharest, Romania, grew up in the south of Germany, and I moved to Berlin in 2013.

In 2015 I finished my Master‘s of Arts in Psychology. During my studies I gained experience through internships in the forensic psychiatry in Munich (Isar-Amper-Klinikum), in the criminal psychology department of the LKA Hamburg and in the general psychiatric ward of the Schlosspark-Klinik Berlin.

After earning my Master‘s degree, I started the training to become a therapist in psychodynamic and psychoanalytical therapy at the Alfred-Adler-Institut in Berlin in 2016, finishing in 2022.

I completed my practical year in the psychiatric ward of the Schlosspark-Klinik.

During my training I also worked as an integration-supporter for people with psychological issues with the Berlin Bezirksämter to finance the training and gain more experience in the social field.

I am a member of the Psychotherapeutenkammer Berlin, the DGIP (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Individualpsychologie), the DGPT (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychoanalyse, Psychotherapie, Psychosomatik und Tiefenpsychologie) and the Alfred-Adler-Institut (AAI), where I am also a lecturer. I am also registered in the "Arztregister".

In November 2022 I opened my private practice in Kreuzberg.

Din păcate nu pot oferi o Terapie in limba română.
